About Well Spoken Speech Therapy

Ashley Culmer, MS, CCC-SLP

As the founder and owner of Well Spoken Speech Therapy, Ashley has worked in the field for over 15 years. She is a board certified speech-language pathologist credentialed by American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in Georgia and North Carolina. Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University.

Ashley has experience working with pediatric and school age populations. Her experience includes a vast variety of disorders stemming from working in public schools, pediatric clinics, natural environment settings (home and daycares) and tele-therapy. Ashley also has experience treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Social-Pragmatic Disorders, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, Stuttering, Apraxia and Articulation Disorders. Within these populations, Ashley has served children from various diverse groups and multicultural backgrounds. Ashley’s specialties include the areas of early intervention and literacy.

Ashley is a certified Hanen instructor and is P.R.O.M.P.T (PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) trained. She serves as a supervisor for clinical fellows (CF) and speech-language pathologist assistants (SLPA). Ashley also serves as a mentor for the ASHA S.T.E.P program and the ProfessioNole Mentors program at Florida State University.


